Advent of Code 2022 Week 3

What happened in week 3?

This is really sad. I am disappointed of my self.

Day 15, everything was still fine. Than day 16, friday, came around and everything changed. I tried multiple things, I continued even on saturday but I still failed. It more or less came down to a traveling salesman problem, which is very hard to solve for those who don't know. Probably, I just thought to much about it and the solution was quite easy but that failure demotivated me. As I had already spent a few hours on saturday trying my best to finish off day 16, I didn't do day 17, which was essentially Tetris. Probably quite easy to implement but I was done for the day.

On sunday I did not even look at the puzzle, and so here we are, wednesday and I haven't solved one since that fateful day. Quite disappointing, isn't it?

Will I redo them after christmas? Maybe, but probably not. Somehow, while stopping felt like I betrayed myself, it felt quite good, finally being free. I think it was basically like an "AoC" burnout.
